How to serve Mo Matcha properly
Straight from the bottle, ice-cold, is a perfectly good way to drink Mo Matcha. But with sixty extra seconds, it becomes a small ceremony.
1. Chill it hard
Mo Matcha is best at 4–6°C. Give it at least three hours in the fridge — or twenty minutes in an ice bucket if guests are already at the door.
2. Wake the cloud
Real matcha settles; that's how you know it's real. Gently invert the bottle two or three times until the lemonade turns uniformly cloudy. Don't shake it hard — you'll lose the soft carbonic brightness.
3. Pour over one big cube
A single large ice cube melts slowly and keeps the drink cold without watering it down. Pour slowly down the side of the glass and watch the cloud bloom.
4. Garnish, if you like
A thin wheel of lemon or a sprig of mint. Nothing more — the drink is the point.
The best moments aren't loud. They're clear, bright, and entirely your own.← Back to the journal
